Our vision stems from that of Martin Luther King Jr.
"Our goal is to create a beloved community and
this will require a qualitative change in our souls
as well as a quantitative change in our lives."
Our vision is what has been instilled in the hearts of mankind. Once we start within, then we can seek universal peace. If we are able to bring dignity and sustainability to the community, then our work will evolve to provide education and assistance. If we are able to bring education and no longer assist, then we will help another community to facilitate the reconstruction of the economic, social and physical well being of the Community and the maintaining of this vision. From vision to mission to action we have developed one program after another with the support of our communities.
From a simple, common vision to reality that assists thousands every year, we are Believers United for Progress.
I want to see us brought back to self-sufficiency, where we have jobs, where we meet the needs of the community and we’re able to engage each other more in a community-type atmosphere.
