Through The Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Believers United for Progress provides daily meals and snacks to youth during the months of September through May (for summer months check out our Summer Feeding Service Program SFSP). We prepare and deliver meals to sites that offer After-school Programs. Currently, all of our programs are for AT-Risk youth and as such, allow for children up to the age of 18 years old.
After-school care programs in low-income areas can participate in the CACFP by contacting us and we will provide free snacks and/or meals. These sites include churches, community centers, recreation centers, and any sites that offer any type of after-school programs (including weekend programs during the school year).
While feeding children is the top priority of the CACFP, we are in need of Volunteers to help facilitate and expand this program and make it an ever-growing success! We need compassionate volunteers that can help with basics like transporting food, setting up or cleaning up a site.
We want to engage the community to participate and make a difference as our youth are our future. We encourage you to sign up as a Volunteer and invest in the children of the community.
How to request services if you are a site?
We encourage all organizations that offer after-school programs to youth to sign up for our services and receive free meals for every child in your program by contacting us!
